We’ve said this before and we’ll say it again, Justin Trudeau is the coolest PM ever to take up residence at 24 Sussex Drive.
Back in February we brought you the news that, while at the World Economic Forum, Prime Minster Trudeau took a few seconds of his interview for CNN to plug our resort to the crowd, saying “you have just got to come to Whistler”.
Now as if having a snowboarding Canadian PM (who also used to be a snowboard instructor at Whistler Blackcomb while studying at UBC) isn’t enough for you, Justin Trudeau recently took a weekend break to his beloved Whistler and wasn’t shy of getting in a few photos with everyone from guests to ski patrol.
Here’s a few photos of Prime Minster Trudeau in Whistler captured by guests and staff via Instagram:
1. Making these kids day with a Prime Ministerial selfie
2. Taking a break with Blackcomb Ski Patrol
3. Hiking Spanky’s Ladder into Blackcomb Glacier
@justinpjtrudeau glad we share great taste in ski runs. Seems we crossed paths a few times in diamond bowl today. Pardon the lamest spy photo ever, but let it be known to you people in the Spankies Ladder line up that you know you’re hiking too slow when even the #PrimeMinister (snowboarder in the black jacket) has to pass you on the right. #proudcanadian #bacon #powderday @whistlerblackcomb

5. Shopping local at Vancouver made & owned Endeavour Snowboards before coming to Whistler
“Thank you to Prime Minister Trudeau for coming to a local independent shop to buy his new snowboard set-up. We’re always happy to help out a fellow snowboarder!” – @totw. Nice work Top of the World. We hope @justinpjtrudeau enjoys the new board. | #AlwaysEndeavor | #TOTW | #Snowboarding | #justintrudeau
