GO Fest, Whistler’s annual celebration of outdoor art and recreation, returns this Victoria Day Long Weekend for four action-packed days of events and activities.
From May 17-20, you can enjoy a plethora of activities and entertainment in the Whistler Village and surrounding wilderness. GO Fest is an excuse to make the most of Whistler’s “Unlimited Season”, when the best of summer and winter collide for a few glorious weeks.
This year’s GO Fest programming includes:
Pickleball, tennis, sailing, cycling, running, canoeing, paddle boarding, skateboarding, yoga and more.
Classic cars, film, photography, farmers market, books and writing, theatre, street entertainment and more.
Free nightly concerts featuring Juno-winning Corb Lund and others.
Workshops to learn about food cultivation, digital photography, axe throwing, sailing, tennis, filmmaking, and even how to DJ.
In addition to the official programming, GO Fest falls on a unique weekend when Whistler is open for both biking and skiing/snowboarding, a multi-sport enthusiast’s dream!
“GO Fest brings incredible energy to Whistler that has transformed May Long Weekend into a really unique time for adventurers to visit Whistler and for locals to stay home and play,” said Whistler Mayor Jack Crompton. “It truly is a celebration of the junction between winter and summer. I am looking forward to another fun weekend inspired by Whistler’s renowned mountain culture. I hope to see everyone skiing, biking, enjoying activities on the water, running, practicing yoga, dancing at the free concerts and more.”
